In the Artist’s Studio

Burien Arts  and the Highline Heritage Museum together sponsor  In the Artist’s Studio.

In the Artist’s Studio was envisioned as a series of workshops by local artists describing their process and technique. These were planned to be in-person at the Highline Heritage Museum, Burien.

Since the pandemic, we have been presenting the workshops via Zoom and video. The classes are videoed by Burien Arts and produced by the Highline Heritage Museum via a YouTube link.

Please see our video for  March-April 2023 artist Danny Mansmith  below:

Please see videos of previous artists in the series on our Programs page.

Artist Paul Illian launched the virtual series with a Zoom workshop on landscape painting in August 2020.  Please see the video here.

Paul gave an in-person workshop, Landscape Painting with Paul Illian, in October, 2019, at the Museum.
