City Hall Exhibit

What: Works by Bob Bevis

When: April 7 – May 26,  2017, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Where: Burien Library & City Hall Building, 3rd floor, 400 SW 152nd Street, Burien

Burien Actors Theatre Lobby

What: Works by  local artists Victor Kimsey & Linda Logie on a nautical theme. Opening night features light hors d’oeuvres and champagne while meeting the artists and actors after the performance.

When: April 14-23 and April 28-May 7, Friday & Saturday @ 7:30 PM, Sunday @ 2:00 during the Bill & Peggy Hunt Playwrights Festival.

Where: Burien Actors Theatre, Community Center Annex, 14501 4th Ave SW, Burien

 

SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK 2017

What: Comedy of Errors, a slapstick comedy involving two sets of identical twins separated at birth. It is a story of immigrants in a strange land facing expulsion and possible death at the hands of a tyrannical Duke. Produced by GreenStage, http://greenstage.org/

Where: Lake Burien School Memorial Park, 14640 18th Ave. SW, Burien. The park has rest rooms and a children’s playground.

Cost: FREE. Bring your picnic and chair.

 

What: Richard II. During Richard II’s short and troubled reign, he is often indecisive or abrupt and arbitrary. His clumsy handling of a dispute between two Dukes (one his cousin) splits the kingdom and sets him on the path to his downfall. Produced by GreenStage, http://greenstage.org/.
