SALMON CREEK CAFE OPEN MIC

What: Open mic for all ages. Anything goes — music, poetry, stories, comedy, instrumental music, theater arts.  Bring your friends!

When: September 20 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Sign up at 6:00 PM. This event takes place every third Thursday.

CHILDREN’S ART CLASSES @ THE BURIEN LIBRARY

What: Summer art classes for children, hosted by The Makery. The kids will use recycled materials and simple crafts to create a project to take home each session. Ideal for ages 5 and up, under 5 with an adult.

When:

August 22: Fake Donuts, Real Art- We will make scrumptious pretend donuts out of recycled materials and simple art supplies.

Where: Burien Library, Multipurpose Room, 400 SW 152nd Street, Burien

B-TOWN BEAT ART WALK

What: Art & music in downtown Burien businesses . Burien Arts will exhibit each month at the Oilerie. Works by James Lilly are on display through August.

When: This event takes place every first Friday during the summer months.

Where: Downtown Burien businesses between 4th & 10th Ave. SW. The Oilerie is at 540 SW 152nd Street
